2007: Junior Season
Named first team all-WHAC, academic all-WHAC and an All-American Scholar Athlete…started in all 47 matches…third on the team with 459 kills…ranked fourth in the WHAC in hitting percentage with a .287 in all games while her .324 percentage in conference games led the loop…led the WHAC in total blocks with 225…ended the year with 101 digs…had 23 matches with double-digit kills…tied her career high of 17 kills twice; vs. Concordia (Sept. 18) and against Embry Riddle (Sept. 21)…had three matches with 10 blocks; Cedarville (Sept. 8), Indiana Tech (Oct. 4) and at Cornerstone (Oct. 9)…had a combined 29 kills in the two WHAC tournament matches…posted 13 kills and eight blocks in the opening match of the National Tournament against Mount Vernon Nazarene (Nov. 28)…
2006: Sophomore Season
Became an impact player in her first season with MU, appearing in all 141 games and 43 matches ... was third on the team in kills with 367 and kills per game with 2.60 ... also tallied third most attempts on the squad with 1,222 ... recorded a team high 66 service aces ... also was a stellar all-around player contributing 448 digs, good for second on the team ... recorded 109 total blocks, third most among MU players ... posted 13 double-kill performances and 22 double-digit dig performances ... also notched seven double-doubles (kills/digs) last season ... earned second team all-WHAC honors.
Prior to Madonna:
Spent one year at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan ... at WMU, she competed on the Broncos' track team, placing third at the prestigious Penn Relays in the heptathalon...finished fourth at the Mid-American Conference outdoor championships...a member of the Dean's List at WMU ... also attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College during the 2004-05 school year and was a member of the KVCC volleyball team that won the Michigan Community College Conference championship.
High School:
Earned three varsity letters in volleyball at Milford High School ... twice named Player-of-the-Year in the Kensington Valley Conference ... also earned all-county, all-region and all-state honorable mention honors during her career ... is the school's record holder in kills, kills per game and attempts ... recorded 72 service aces, 483 kills and 377 digs as a senior.
