 Rules:

-16:00 running clock halves – clock stops for subs (every 4 min) and in last 3 min of each half.
          - High School Double Headers – Games will be 12 min halves.
          - Pro single games are 20 min halves.
- game starts with jump ball
- defense gets jump balls
- all shooting fouls are 1-1 (3 pt fouls are 1 1-1)
- all fouls in last 2 min of each game are 1-1
- coaches must sub in order of numbers
- overtime is 2 min (coaches can play any 5)
- coaches have 2 timeouts per game ( a timeout in last two minutes is advanced to half court)

The Sunday Fall Basketball League has been one of the fastest growing traditions in Metro-Detroit over the past five years. Local players have been able to hone their skills during the fall against some of the top competition in the region. Games are played only on Sunday afternoons and the teams are coached by Madonna University's own basketball players. Teams play a up to two games per Sunday before the league tournament.

Head Men's Basketball Coach

Coach Emenhiser enters his third year as Madonna University's Head Men's Basketball coach. At the conclusion of the 2010-11 season Emenhiser was voted the WHAC Coach of Character, by his peers, for displaying integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership. As director of All-Star Camps, Emenhiser instructed more than 350 young men in the various All-Star programs. As a player at Madonna University, Emenhiser set several career and single season scoring records on his way to establishing the career scoring mark at over 2,000 points.

Coach Sanders enters his second year as an assistant basketball coach at Madonna University where he is responsible for the strength and conditioning program as well as skill development and post play. Coach Sanders is also the head strength and development coach for IMPACT basketball of Novi. Sanders will be working with the SFBL for his second straight year.

Q: Do the teams practice during the week?
A: NO, teams will not practice during the week. We understand that your families are as busy as we are here at Madonna University. The goal of the league is to provide structured game experience for your son to help him prepare for the winter season.

Q: Who will coach the teams?
A: Madonna University men's basketball players and coaches will coach the teams. The coaches will instruct the players in game situations and players will receive equal playing time. The Madonna University men's basketball players work very hard to ensure that each player receives valuable instruction.

 Q: What are the league rules?

Q: What do I need to bring to my games?
A: Aside from the obvious basketball shoes and apparel, you need to bring water with you each day. You will also be asked to wear your SFBL reversible jersey to each game.  Water will not be provided by All-Star Camps. Please do not bring a Basketball with you, SFBL will provide all basketball equipment for you to use.

Q: What division will my son play in?
A: The total number of participants in a camp as well, as your son's age, will determine which division he will be placed in. The SFBL has three divisions High School, NCAA, and Pro, your son will be assigned a division based on his age and experience.

Q: Can my daughter play in the SFBL?
A: All-Star Camps and the SFBL are run by the men's basketball staff and are for young men only. The women's basketball program offers many camps that may interest your daughter. Please see the youth camps page on MadonnaCrusaders.com
