KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (MadonnaCrusaders.com) - - Senior Austin Stillman (Livonia, Mich. / Franklin) and freshman Tyler Skiba (Ossineke, Mich. / Alpena) led the Madonna University men's golf team by tying for 16th place to close the USF Cougar Invite on Tuesday (August 31). MU finished sixth as a team.

Stillman took three shots off of his day one total to shoot a 74 and lead the Crusaders on day two.

Seniors Jimmy Uelmen (Ferndale, Mich. / Dondero) and Brett Quitiquit (Highland, Mich. / Milford) tied for 21st with totals of 153 while junior Vince Carango (Lawton, Mich. / Lawton) was tied for 26th.

Junior Nick Sears (Clio, Mich. / Powers Catholic) and senior Tommy Lucko (Livonia, Mich. / Churchill) were 33rd and 43rd respectively while junior Ronnie Pollack (Southgate, Mich. / Anderson) tied for 49th.

Freshmen Kevin Robinson (Livonia, Mich. / Churchill) and Erik Taurence (Wyandotte, Mich. / Roosevelt) along with senior Justin Taurence (Wyandotte, Mich. / Roosevelt) rounded out the Madonna contingent with 52nd, 64th and 82nd place finishes.

The Crusaders return to the course on Friday, taking part in the Lou Collins Memorial Classic in Battle Creek.
