KENDALVILLE, Ind. (MadonnaCrusaders.com) - - The Madonna women's golf team opened play at the USF Fall Invitational on Monday (August 30) and sits in fourth after 18 holes.

Senior Jimmy Uelmen (Ferndale, Mich. / Dondero) and sophomore Tyler Skiba (Ossinke, Mich. / Alpena) both turned in rounds of 75. Defending national runner-up Brett Quitiquit (Highland, Mich. / Milford) and junior Vince Carango (Lawton, Mich. / Lawton) each shot 76 while senior Austin Stillman (Livonia, Mich. / Franklin) and junior Ronnie Pollack, Jr. (Southgate, Mich. / Anderson) each carded a round of 77.

Senior Tommy Lucko (Livonia, Mich. / Churchill), junior Nick Sears (Clio, Mich. / Powers Catholic) and freshman Kevin Robinson (Livonia, Mich. / Churchill) all shot rounds of 79. Freshman Erik Taurence (Wyandotte, Mich. / Roosevelt) and senior Justin Taurence (Wyandotte, Mich. / Roosevelt) carded rounds of 84 and 94.

The Crusaders trail WHAC rivals Indiana Tech, Cornerstone and Davenport in the race for first place and wrap up play on Tuesday with another 18 holes.
