KENDALVILLE, Ind. (MadonnaCrusaders.com) - - The Madonna women's golf team opened play at the USF Fall Invitational on Monday (August 30). Team rankings are not available at this time.

Sophomore Michelle Hall (Flushing, Mich. / Flushing) led the Crusaders for the third straight round, turning in an 82.

Junior Chelsea Bathurst (Livonia, Mich. / Stevenson) carded an 86 while freshman Kaitlyn Brasher (Grand Blanc, Mich. / Grand Blanc) continued her hot play with an 89. Senior Sara Simnitch (Swartz Creek, Mich. / Swartz Creek) turned in a 90 while sophomore Elena Thomas (White Lake, Mich. / Lakeland) shot a 92.

Seniors Mariel Meyers (Westland, Mich. / Franklin) and Caitlin Steele (Livonia, Mich. / Divine Child) shot 94 and 99 respectively while freshman Chelsea Osburn (Canton, Mich. / Canton) also carded a 99.

The Crusaders wrap up play on Tuesday with another 18 holes.
