LIVONIA, Mich. (MadonnaCrusaders.com) - - The Madonna University women's soccer team opened its home schedule on Saturday (August 28) and fell by a 1-0 final to the University of Windsor at Greenmead Field.
The Lancers scored the game's only tally in the 67th minute when Heather Daichendt beat Chelsea Gregg (Livonia, Mich. / Clarenceville) for a 1-0 lead.
MU returns to the field next Friday (Sept. 3) in a 6pm match against Houghton College. The match will be played at Roberts Wesleyan College in western New York.

"Today was definitely better than Thursday (against Detroit) but I think we expected better going forward. The kids worked hard today, especially in the second half."
