LIVONIA, Mich. (MadonnaCrusaders.com) - - PING and the Golf Coaches Association of America have announced their 2010 NAIA All-Region teams and Madonna University junior Brett Quitiquit (Milford, Mich./Milford) was named to the All-North Region squad.
Quitiquit captured the 2009 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference individual championship as the Crusaders won the WHAC championship for the first time in program history. Madonna advanced to the 2010 NAIA National Championships where Quitiquit shined, finishing as the national runner-up and earning a place on the all-tournament team as well as an invitation back to next year's national championships.
The lone WHAC representative on any of the four all-region teams, Quitiquit led the Crusaders with a 75 stroke per round average. Quitiquit posted seven top-five finishes as well as 13 top-20 finishes during his second season as a Crusader.
The Crusaders kick off their WHAC title defense in August.
