RAPID CITY, S.D. (MadonnaCrusaders.com) - - The Madonna University women's golf team saw a pair of Crusaders post their best scores of the tournament on day three of the 2010 NAIA National Championships at Meadowbrook Golf Course.

Freshman Michelle Hall (Flushing, Mich./Flushing) and sophomore Chelsea Bathurst (Livonia, Mich./Stevenson/Schoolcraft CC) both cut four strokes off of their day two scores as Hall posted an 85 while Bathurst tallied an 89. Hall is in a tie for 88th place while Bathurst is tied for 112th.

"Michelle and Chelsea rebounded well today" commented Head Coach Scott Marzolino, "I think that will carry over to the whole team tomorrow as we close out the tournament. I think that the players want to go out with their best rounds of the tournament and close the season on a high note."

Juniors Mariel Meyers (Westland, Mich./Franklin) and Sara Simnitch (Swartz Cree, Mich./Swartz Creek/Mott CC) both posted rounds of 93 on the day and sit in a tie for 103rd place.

Rounding out the MU contingent was junior Caitlin Steele (Livonia, Mich./Divine Child Catholic) sits in 121st place after her third round.

The Crusaders close out play the 2010 NAIA National Championships on Friday (May 28).
