RESULTS
LOCKBOURNE, Ohio (MadonnaCrusaders.com) - - The Madonna University men's golf team continued its hot play on Friday (April 10), opening the Purple and White Invitational hosted by Capital University with a 306 total to sit in second place at Foxfire Golf Club.
Junior Jimmy Uelmen (Ferndale, Mich./Dondero/Oakland CC) is tied for second after shooting an even par 72. Senior Kyle Lawery (Grand Blanc, Mich./Flushing/Mott CC) is tied for fourth with a two-over 74 and junior Brett Quitiquit (Highland, Mich./Milford/Oakland) is tied for 14th with a six-over 78. Senior Steve South (Westland, Mich./Franklin) and junior Tommy Lucko (Livonia, Mich./Churchill/Oakland CC) shot 82 and 87 respectively.
The Crusaders - who trail Malone by four shots - close out the event with 18 more holes on Saturday (April 11).
