Madonna took first place by 30 strokes over runner-up Walsh (644) and 32 strokes over third place finishers Daemen and future Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference member Northwestern Ohio (646). Host Kenyon came in fifth (655) to round out the top.

Sears - playing as an individual - put together his best two-round total of the season with rounds of 74 and 76 to move from second place after day one to the top spot by a single stroke over teammate Jimmy Uelmen (Ferndale, Mich./Dondero/Oakland CC) who carded rounds of 76 and 75. Fellow junior Tommy Lucko (Livonia, Mich./Churchill/Oakland CC) made the biggest jump from day one to day two, shaving six strokes off of his card, shooting a 73 to post the lowest score in the field on day two. Lucko finished third with a total of 152 (79/73).

Day one leader Brett Quitiquit (Highland, Mich./Milford/Oakland) shot an 81 to finish fourth (73-81/154) while Austin Stillman (Livonia, Mich./Franklin) fought the conditions and turned in a round of 82 to tie for seventh (75-82/157). Rounding out the MU contingent was senior Steve South (Westland, Mich./Franklin) who tied for 23rd with a total of 164 (79-85).
