RESULTS
 
HOWARD, Ohio (MadonnaCrusaders.com) - - In their first tournament of the spring season, the Madonna University men's golf team closed day one of the Kenyon College Invite in first place. The Crusaders shot a team total of 303 to lead second place and future Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference member Northwestern Ohio by 11 strokes.
 
WHAC individual champion Brett Quitiquit (Highland, Mich./Milford/Oakland) leads the field with a one-over par 73. Nick Sears (Clio, Mich./Flint Powers Catholic) is playing as an individual and sits in second with a 74. Austin Stillman (Livonia, Mich./Franklin) is tied for third with a three-over par 75. Jimmy Uelmen (Ferndale, Mich./Dondero/Oakland CC) is tied for sixth with a four-over 76 while fellow junior Tommy Lucko (Livonia, Mich./Churchill/Oakland CC) and senior Steve South (Westland, Mich./Franklin) are tied for 15th with rounds of 79.
 
The Crusaders look to wrap up their first team title of the spring season with a 9:30am shotgun start on Sunday (March 28).
