GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (MadonnaCrusaders.com) -- A career-high 17 points from freshman Heather Pratt (Flushing, Mich.) to go along with three other Crusaders in double-figures was not enough to overcome the hot shooting of No. 2-ranked Davenport as the Madonna University women's basketball team fell 90-75 on Saturday afternoon (Feb. 6) at the DU Student Center. 

Pratt led the Crusaders with 17 points and 3 rebounds off the bench while junior Tabatha Wydryck (Wyandotte, Mich.) posted a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds in addition to 11 markers from junior Katie Mount (Waterford, Mich.) and 10 from freshman Kaylee McGrath (Livonia, Mich.)

The Crusaders finished the game shooting .439 percent from the floor and .360 percent behind the arc while the Panthers out rebounded the Crusaders 55-33.

Davenport opened the game on a 10-0 before Madonna finally put points on the board with 16:25 left by two made free throws from Kristie Porada (Rockwood, Mich.).

The Crusaders pulled back to within six points, 28-22, with a three-pointer from Wydryck with 6:13 left in the first half but could note get any closer and went into the locker room down 50-35.

DU opened the second half on an 18-7 run to push its lead up to 30 and the No. 2 ranked team in the nation cruised to the 15 point win.

The Panthers shot .427 percent from the floor and .333 percent behind the arc. They were lead by Carrie Grubius' 18 points.

The Crusaders return home on Wednesday (Feb. 10) welcoming Indiana Tech to the Activities Center for a 7:30pm tip-off.
