ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. (MadonnaCrusaders.com) - - The Madonna University men's basketball team fell at Rochester College on Tuesday by a score of 82-76. With the loss the Crusaders fall to 0-4 on the season.
Three Crusader guards led the way offensively , Bryant Slaughter (Westland, Mich.) posted a team high 22 points, Kevin Henry (Toledo, Ohio) and Josh Gay (Woodburn, Ind.) each chipped in 20 points with all three scoring new career highs.
Madonna shot a season high 51% from the floor and 53% from the three point line, however the Crusaders turned the ball over 20 times with Rochester turning those chances into 28 points.
The Crusaders will return to action Tuesday, November 17 when they travel to Fort Wayne, Indiana, to take on NCAA Division I IPFW. Game time is scheduled for 7:00pm
