BOX SCORE

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (MadonnaCrusders.com) - - The Madonna men's soccer team went to double overtime with Concordia on Saturday (Oct. 31) and came away with a 1-1 draw.

CU got on the board in the 14th minute when Ali Badra Diallo knocked a shot in off of a MU defender to give the Cards a 1-0 lead.

The match remained 1-0 in favor of the home side before freshman Moses Otieno (Kenya) lined up a free kick in the 55th minute and his shot got past the Cards' keeper to knot the match at 1-1.

Both sides posted a shot in the first overtime and MU put another shot on goal in the second extra frame but neither found the netting and the match ended in a 1-1 tie.

The MU tie and a Davenport win over Siena Heights eliminates Madonna from playoff contention. The Crusaders wrap up the 2009 season on Wednesday in a 3pm match at Davenport.
