COLUMBUS, Ohio - - Coming off of claiming the 2009 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference crown on Tuesday, the Madonna University women's golf team opened day one of the Auld Crafters Kisor Classic at Cumberland Trail Golf Club with a team total of 351. Otterbein leads the event with a 328.
 
Freshman Michelle Hall (Flushing, Mich.) sits in a tie for fourth after turning in an 83. Junior Sara Simnitch (Swartz Creek, Mich.) sits in 13th with an 86. Sophomore Chelsea Bathurst (Livonia, MIch.) carded a 90 while juniors Caitlin Steele (Livonia, Mich.) and Mariel Meyers (Westland, Mich.) turned in rounds of 92 and 96 each.
 
The Crusaders close out the fall season with day two of the Kisor Classic on Saturday.
