ALLIANCE, Ohio - - The Madonna University men's golf team ended the second day of the Malone Fall Classic where it began, in second place at the Tannenhauf Golf Course.

Junior Jimmy Uelmen (Ferndale, Mich.) ended the tournament in third, improving by seven strokes from Friday to card a 68 on Saturday. Fellow juniors Tommy Lucko (Livonia, Mich.) and Austin Stillman (Livonia, Mich.) ended tied for 10th, both totaling  a 148 for the event. A third junior - Brett Quitiquit (Highland, Mich.) improved his second day score by four strokes, shooting a 74 to tied for 17th. Senior Steve South (Westland, Mich.) improved his second day total by two strokes, turning in a 78 to tie for 32nd.

The Crusaders return to the course next weekend, taking part in the Pilot Invite hosted by Bethel College.
