POST MATCH QUOTES
Head Coach Jen Barker: "Tonight we came out more prepared for their style of play which helped us keep the game close. Once we scored we tightened up our game a bit and left them with few chances in the rest of the half. We knew they would come back at us strong in the second half and they really did. We fought through quite a physical game. We didn't give them many chances to get in but they capitalized on what they got. We pressed them until the end but couldn't get another to tie it up. This trip was a great learning experience as to the type of soccer that is played on the West Coast. We've never seen their game and the exposure to it will benefit us."
