LIVONIA, Mich. – The Madonna University women's soccer team will have a new face at the helm when they take the field in 2017 as Paul Patton begins his first season with the Crusaders. Madonna will welcome 16 new faces to the squad that will look to make up for the departure of NAIA All-American honorable mention, Kelly Capoccia, who remains with the Crusaders as a graduate assistant.

"I am very excited about our incoming recruiting class," said Patton. "It is a very large and talented group.  The addition of this many players will create more competition in practice and will hopefully raise our level of play as a whole.  It should be an exciting season for Madonna Women's Soccer and it looks like we will have a solid group for the future."
