LIVONIA, Mich. – The Madonna University men's and women's cross country programs leave Michigan just three times in 2017 with trips to Louisville, Kentucky and South Bend, Indiana the only guaranteed events outside the Great Lakes State.

The Crusaders kick off the season in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a city they travel to three times, for the Knight Invite hosted by Calvin College at Gainey Athletic Complex on Sept. 9. A week later Madonna heads west on I-96 for the Spartan Invite hosted by Michigan State University on Sept. 15 at Forest Akers East Golf Course.

After a week off, the Blue and Gold travel south to Louisville University for the Greater Louisville Open on Sept. 29 at Tom Sawyer State Park. The following weekend brings a trip to Bethel College in South Bend for the Bethel Invite held at St. Patrick's Country Club on Oct. 6.

Another break follows before the Crusaders travel to Aquinas College for the NAIA Regional Challenge that features some of the top NAIA competition in the Midwest at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids.

Tony Floyd will look to defend his Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference title on Nov. 3 as the Crusaders return to Riverside Park for the WHAC Championships.

The NAIA National Championships are scheduled for Nov. 15 at Fort Vancouver Historic Championship Course in Vancouver, Washington.
