Scouting The Golden Eagles
The Golden Eagles come into Wednesday's game after a 71-68 victory at Northwestern Ohio on Saturday (Jan. 21). CU had to rally from a 12-point halftime deficit for the win.
Melissa Veltkamp leads CU in points (17.05) and assists per game (3.46) while Samantha Flietstra is pulling in 7.96 rebounds per game.

Junior guard Heather Pratt has been on fire from beyond the arc over the last five game. Pratt has knocked down 17 3-pointers, connecting at a 48 percent clip.

Last Time Out Against Cornerstone
Dec. 3, 2011 - - The Madonna University women's basketball team stumbled in its second Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference game of the season, falling to Cornerstone University 87-56 on Saturday (Dec. 3) at Mol Arena.
Erin Bentley led Madonna with 14 points, her highest total since Dec. of 2009. Juniors Michelle Lindsey and Kristie Porada each added 10 points for the Crusaders.
Bentley posted 12 of her 14 points in the second half, knocking down four 3-pointers and grabbing three rebounds. Lindsey also had a big second half, scoring eight of her 10 in the final 20 minutes but it was not enough as the Crusaders dropped the 87-56 final.
Indiana Tech Recap
The Madonna University women's basketball team cut a 14-point halftime deficit down to just four but could not get any closer in dropping a 79-58 decision to Indiana Tech on Saturday (Jan. 21) at the Schaefer Center.
Juniors Michelle Lindsey and Kaylee McGrath led the Crusaders with 14 points apiece while senior center Becca Wojcinski added 10 markers off of the bench to go along with a team-best eight rebounds.

The Crusaders close the month of January at home, hosting UM-Dearborn on Saturday in a "Think Pink" game. MU will be wearing special pink uniforms to raise awareness of the fight against cancer. Tipoff against the Wolves is set for 1 p.m.
