Madonna's legacy of consistent success in intercollegiate athletics mirrors its reputation as one of the region's finest institutions of higher learning.
Madonna University currently fields 11 varsity teams, with over 200 undergraduates participating in intercollegiate athletics this year. The number of MU teams will rise to 19 for the 2016-17 school year when bowling, lacrosse and indoor and outdoor track and field teams for both men and women begin competing.
Since its membership in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference began in 1997, Madonna teams have won over 50 conference titles and made more 30 appearances at their respective NAIA National Championships.
Moreover, Madonna provides its students everything necessary for a liberal arts education in virtually every imaginable field. The sheer number of curricular choices -- the catalog includes over 100 majors -- opens doors for the exploration of widely disparate fields and also for concentrations in special areas of interest.
